We cordially invite you to the discussion SÚMRAK MÚZEÍ, organized by the Museum of the City of Bratislava together with the Platform of Free Museum Professionals

on Saturday, 17th May at 17:00 in the premises of MMB (Faust Hall).

The discussion focuses on the questions:
How have unjustified personnel changes and consolidation measures affected the museum sector? What stance do international professional organizations take? And how can we contribute at an individual level to the preservation of our shared cultural heritage?

The debate, which will address current and long-term issues of Slovak museum professionals, will feature:
✷ Silvia Hroncová, former Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic
✷ Matúš Bieščad, former State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic and director of the abolished Institute of Cultural Policy
✷ Marcela Kvetková, member of the coordinating team of the Platform of Free Museum Professionals and project manager at MMB
✷ Erika Šmelková, former project manager of the Castle of Krásna Hôrka and deputy director of SNM – Museum Betliar.

The discussion will be led by Zuzana Denková, member of the coordinating team of the Platform of Free Museum Professionals and manager of professional activities at MMB.
The event is part of the programme of the Night of Museums and Galleries at MMB.
