“Museums in Times of Uncertainty: Protection, Responsibility, and Resilience of Cultural Heritage,”
organized by ICOM Slovakia in collaboration with partner national committees.
The conference will take place on May 27–28, 2026, in Trenčín (European Capital of Culture 2026) and will feature expert presentations and discussions on the following topics:
- crisis management and the protection of cultural heritage,
- institutional resilience and visitor engagement,
- information warfare and historical narratives,
- legal and ethical challenges in museum practice.
The program will also include guided tours and networking opportunities.
